Anesthesia is often the unsung hero of medical care. Without it, no surgery or procedure could take place. For decades, Dominion Anesthesia Group has been a trusted partner to Arlington Free Clinic, providing pro bono anesthesia services for our patients undergoing surgeries and procedures at VHC Health.
Physician-owned for over 25 years, Dominion Anesthesia has supported surgeons of all specialties with industry-leading services, while ensuring patients are fully informed and prepared for their procedures. Their physicians take time to explain what to expect, which not only improves patient safety but also helps reduce stress and provide peace of mind before surgery.
Last fiscal year alone, Dominion Anesthesia physicians provided 122 anesthesia services to AFC patients, including many for routine screenings such as colonoscopies and endoscopies. The total value of their care was valued at $138,600.
“We value our long-standing practice at VHC and our relationship with AFC, and we are delighted to participate in the health care of our fellow Arlingtonian citizens,” shared Dr. David Lee of Dominion Anesthesia.
Dominion Anesthesia’s expertise, commitment to quality care, and unwavering spirit of community partnership make them an invaluable part of AFC’s mission to provide comprehensive, equitable healthcare to our patients. Their work is a reminder that anesthesia may behind the scenes, but it is at the heart of making every successful procedure – and every patient’s care plan – possible.
