Arlington Free Clinic does not provide emergency medical care. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to an emergency room.
- All AFC visits are for current patients with a valid AFC ID card.
- Visits are by appointment only (no walk-ins).
- Eligibility must be renewed every year by appointment.
Pharmacy Information
You can come to the Clinic to pick up your medications from 10am-12pm and 1-4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Thursday pharmacy hours are 11am-12pm and 1-6pm.
Please order your refills by calling (703) 979-0333 and leaving a message with the following information:
- Your Name
- Telephone Number
- Clinic ID Number
- Medicine/Prescription Number
You will be contacted when your medication is ready to pick up. Medicine must be ordered 5 days in advance.

AFC is on the ground floor of the Jasper Columbia Pike Building at the intersection of Columbia Pike and Walter Reed. The front door is on 11th St. South, which is on the back side of Avalon Columbia Pike. 11th St. South parallels Columbia Pike and intersects Walter Reed.
Parking And Transportation
Street Parking
Limited metered parking is available on 11th St. South, directly in front of AFC. Please be aware that meter hours are from 8 am to 8 pm. Parking in local neighborhoods may be restricted to decals/residents only. Please check signage before parking.
We strongly suggest that you do not park in lots restricted to customers of neighboring businesses, such as the Walgreens or BB&T, as they all are prone to towing.
Underground Parking
The Arlington County parking garage under the Jasper building. Enter the garage from Walter Reed Drive, between Columbia Pike and 11th St. South.
You must pay in advance via cash/credit card at an automated pay station. When parking, please note the number of your space in order to pay correctly. If you stay over the amount of time for which you paid, you could be towed. Take the elevator to the street level. Walk out onto 11th St., turn right and enter the AFC.
