How to Become a Patient
AFC is not a walk-in urgent care. You must have an appointment before coming to the Clinic.
Eligibility Requirements:
- No insurance or access to insurance (Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance)
- 18+ years of age
- Arlington County resident
- Lived in United States for 6+ months
- Income requirements
Eligibility Documents:
- Proof of Identification (bring one): Passport, driver’s license, ID card, etc.
- Proof of address dated no longer than 2 months ago (bring one): Lease, recent bill, landlord letter and proof of address from landlord, bank statements, letter from community partners
- Proof of income of the household of the last 2 months: Pay stubs, letter from employer, letter from benefits
Our services are for individuals and families with limited income. You do not need to be working to qualify. Eligibility is based on household size and total financial resources. Our team will review your situation with you to determine eligibility.
