In 2015, we established a modest dental clinic in borrowed space at Arlington County Department of Human Services. However, community need and support allowed us to expand capacity, growing into a three-chair clinic co-located alongside our medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy teams. Today, our dental team works six days a week, providing truly holistic services to our patients, including both basic oral health care (cleanings, screenings, etc.) and major restorative treatments (root canals, crowns, bridges, and dentures).
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, grantors, and other community partners, AFC can provide quality, affordable oral health care to our neighbors who would otherwise go without. However, the demand for dental services among our patients remains greater than our capacity.
This 10-year milestone is a celebration of what we have achieved together and a reminder of the work ahead. With your continued support, AFC can meet growing community need, ease costs for patients, and ensure healthier smiles for years to come.
