Patients, Volunteers, Donors - They are the Clinic.
They tell our story.
Patients:
AFC Patients are all low income adult residents of Arlington with no medical insurance.
Antonio is 68 years old and has a pacemaker. At the Clinic he is treated for his congestive heart failure, hypotension, renal failure, chronic anemia, and depression. He is part of a special Coumadin monitoring program and a Men’s support group.
“I feel very emotional about the Clinic and what it has done for me. Before I came here I was very sick and was crying a lot. The Clinic saved me and helped me. I don’t know how to thank you for what you have done for me and for giving me my medications.”

Donors:
Stephanie & Fernando have been donors and volunteers since 2004. They are conference interpreters in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. They work as interpreters at the Clinic.
“We have the unique privilege of actively participating in an organization to which we contribute. It makes us happy to know that in our volunteer role at the Clinic we really make a difference in patients’ lives. We feel it is so important to financially support this caring organization that provides free health care to people who have no insurance and could not afford medical care anywhere else.”
